An Independant Multi Branded Fitment Centre

TTR Distributors cc was established in 2003. It was previously a sole proprietor that had its humble beginnings in 1997. It is a family business that grew beyond expectations. Concentrating initially on the retail tyre industry, it soon began expanding into wholesale of tyres, wheels and motor car accessories. Distributing from Limpopo province into Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, Freestate, Kwazulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Northern Cape, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and other Southern African States.

Being strong in the passenger, taxi and truck industry as well, led us to begin importing steel wheels, alloy wheels, high performance and budget tyres from the east. We constantly have a supply of the various styles and latest fashions in steel and alloy wheels, and balancing a constant supply of local and imported tyres. Being on top of the game seems to be the way we keep going forward, trying innovative ideas and concepts.

In 2009, with a growing demand in the Gauteng region, we established a wholesale and distribution base in Gauteng. Centrally located for effective logistics for the distribution of tyres and alloy wheels. Supplying the independent retail tyre outlets as well as well-known franchise outlets in the tyre and wheel industry. Increasing demand and the need for multi branded supply of tyres and wheels opened a new door, ”AN INDEPENDENT MULTI BRANDED GROUP OF STORES “

June 2009, Opening of our first group store, established in Booysens, Gauteng – small outlet with great potential. This started a stir amongst independent existing tyre and wheel retailers, signing up the second dealer within a month. We then increased grew to six stores in South Africa and two in Namibia within six months, with three more stores by end of March 2010.

In the first quarter of 2012 we began to focus on the overall customer experience in our stores. As a part of this, a new identity was designed and developed. This would include a better “look and feel” to our stores. All subsequent stores would be opened with this new look and feel and existing stores would be upgraded in phases to reflect the same image.
